1) Summer Orientation Fest
Looking to find a place to get involved when you're here for orientation? Come visit us the first night at Pierpont Commons and learn about all of the groups we have to offer here on campus.
Every Fall semester, North Campus is flooded with tables upon tables of student organizations ready to showcase their work and recruit new members. Students from every stage of college--freshmen to senior--can explore opportunities to get involved, make new connections, and get as many free pens as their backpack can hold. In addition to the many student org tables, the fest will also have a bunch of fun activities and interactive games. The excitement and energy right outside Pierpont Commons is about to be real. And while you are mixing and mingling with student org leaders and enjoying the exciting activities, make sure to stop into Pierpont for a bite to eat or a place to relax with friends. Also, look for the University Unions table for money-saving coupons and some awesome free giveaways!
There is one day every Fall semester where the energy and enthusiasm on the Diag is entirely unmatched by any other. It is the day where hundreds of student organizations flock to the Diag to showcase their mission and recruit new members. This day is FestiFall. During FestiFall, students from across the university can explore opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and, you guessed it, get a ton of free stuff. It is the best opportunity to learn how to get involved at Michigan and find the perfect student organization for you. Also, make sure to check out the University Unions table for coupons and free giveaways!
