The morning of October 4th was certainly a highlight of Aaron Kall's tenure as Director of the University's Debate Program. Aaron was the featured expert for the first presidential debate between President Obama and Governor Romney, on NBC affiliate WDIV-TV Channel 4 in Detroit with Rhonda Walker and Guy Gordon. Jared Wadley, Laura Lessnau, and Bernie DeGroat from the University of Michigan News Service were instrumental in securing this opportunity to help promote U-M, The Division of Student Affairs, and the Debate Program.
The timing of the appearance was ideal, as communication expert Peter Logan provided Kull with invaluable insight before the big appearance. Kall provided his expert analysis of the presidential debate while wearing his lucky University of Michigan tie and cufflinks. Kull has worked closely with the U-M News Service, WDIV-TV, and other media outlets to promote the work of the Division of Student Affairs and the Dean of Students' stewardship of the U-M Debate Program.
