Do you have the Michigan app? It's a great way to keep news, events, locations, class resources, and more at your fingertips. Look up a person or bus route, find an available computer lab, or see what’s on the menu at your favorite dining hall.

And the Michigan app now shares U-M Emergency Alerts, especially for people who aren't affiliated with the university, such as contractors working on campus and parents. (U-M students, faculty, and staff can sign up for Emergency Alerts here.)

The U-M Emergency Alert system is intended to notify the campus community of an active, major campus emergency such as an active shooter, severe weather warnings, or emergency reductions in operations.

You can download the Michigan App from the Apple App store or Google Play (enable push notifications to use the emergency alerts function).
