Student Life

Lauren Johnson and Kelly Bissonette from Body Peace Corps

Halloween is just a few days away and for many people that means an opportunity to have fun times, dress up in costumes, go trick-or-treating, attend parties, and eat yummy treats.  With all of this excitement, considering safety is also important. Thanks to the sponsors listed below, UM student volunteers filled the streets of Ann Arbor to spread the word about a safe and fun Halloween.  This collaborative effort between the city and the University aimed to increase awareness of substance-free events and to educate students about the importance of being safe and legal if they do plan on celebrating the holiday. To achieve this goal, the student volunteers went door to door handing out goodies and party tips to off-campus houses and apartments.
