The Center for Campus Involvement, in partnership with the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs and the Ginsberg Center for Community Service & Learning, would like to invite student organizations to apply to be a part of Leadership Connection: Engage 2017, May 1st-4th at Camp Michigania!
Leadership Connection: Engage is a four day, off-campus student organization retreat with 70-80 UM student leaders representing 15-20 student organizations that stimulates collaborative change.
Focus areas such as defining organizational values and beliefs, examining organizational culture, navigating communication and conflict, and leading from an inclusive framework create an impactful learning experience!
Leadership Connection participants will:
- Stimulate intra-group and inter-group development
- Build resilient, collaborative relationships within and between organizations
- Discover how to operate from a socially just framework
- Think critically about how to advocate for change and influence campus culture
Organizations can apply here! Each organization is required to list 3-5 members that will attend Leadership Connection on behalf of their group. All costs (travel, food, lodging, and program supplies) are covered for participants. More information about the program can be found at campusinvolvement.umich.edu/ar
