Survey data indicate that three out of five college students experience extreme anxiety and two out of five experience debilitating depression. This need for mental health management on campuses requires a broad approach to address emerging issues as well as acute needs. College campuses are under constant pressure to increase resources toward mental health and decrease wait times for counselors.
