Nutrition comes in many forms -- mind, body and soul. A collaboration of the Maize and Blue Cupboard, the Michigan College of Engineering C.A.R.E. Care Center, and MDining aims to hit all three with Stressbuster events designed to offer useful tips and relaxing breaks for your student.

The Stressbusters series includes demonstrations from Michigan Catering’s Executive Chef Russ Palmer. These interactive cooking demos incorporate items found either at the Maize and Blue Cupboard or the North Campus mobile food distributions to make healthy, comforting meals, allowing students to gather meal ideas and ask questions during the live stream. 
 
Chef Palmer, along with a student, will conduct demos on March 17 and 31, and April 14. In addition, the videos are posted on the MBC website along with recipe information.  
 
Michigan Dining chefs also provide tips and cooking demonstrations via the MDining Facebook page, including gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. Also, the MBC provides recipes and cooking tips at its locations, distribution sites and website.
 
Other Stressbuster events -- designed to bust stress, promote well-being, and have fun -- include Coping Skills Workshop: Mindfulness, Virtual Problem Solving, and Orienteering with Maps & Compass, among others.
