Student Life

Student Life is here for you; our most basic task is helping students get the most out of their experiences at the university. With Student Life you can find your own niche on campus; connect with students within or beyond your residence hall, organization, or academic program; get involved in student organizations, leadership opportunities, and campus jobs and internships; and choose the housing and dining and living options that work best for you.

Student Life Research

Student Life Research conducts research about students at the University of Michigan and serves as a consulting resource for many university departments and units – creating assessment tools, collecting data, disseminating results, and expanding knowledge about our students and their lives.

You Can Make A Difference, Too!

Every change you make, no matter how large or small, has an impact on our environment. Here are some small steps that can have a big effect.

ENERGY

  • Walk, bike or take a bus instead of driving.
  • Set your printer to double-sided default to save paper.
  • Look into sharing a printer with your housemates to reduce energy usage.
  • Use power strips and shut them off at night.
