    Humans of U-M: Zoe Wright on finding purpose through well-being work

    Zoe Wright, a U-M senior from Ypsilanti, grew into leadership through Wolverine Wellness and the Trotter Multicultural Center. As a Wolverine Wellness peer facilitator and wellness coach, she meets students where they are, using the eight dimensions of well-being.

    From Blavin to Broadway

    Meet Alana Pollard (BFA ’21), a Blavin Scholar alumna who’s making her dreams come true. The Blavin Scholars Program mentors students who have been in foster care, lived with relatives, or are attending U-M without help from parents. The Blavin community helps them develop the life skills they need to reach for the stars.

    The Strength of Support

    First-generation student Brenda Esquivel Rivera found community and mentorship in Delta Tau Lambda Sorority at U-M. Now she gives back through the Fraternity and Sorority Life service program Right to Success, which brings underrepresented high school students to campus to learn about college opportunities.
