Leadership Engagement Scholarship

Leadership Engagement Scholarships | Dean of Students Office   
The Dean of Students Office stewards a collection of Leadership Engagement Scholarships designed to lessen various cost barriers associated with extracurricular involvement at U-M. Emerging and established student leaders with financial need are encouraged to apply. 

Academic Year 2024-2025 Award eligibility requirements:

  • Maintain part-time or full-time enrollment at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor for the Fall 2024 semester and Winter 2025 semester
  • Currently hold (or aspire to hold) a leadership role in a campus-based student organization

Timeline for Academic Year 2024-2025 Awards: 
Application Opens: April 1, 2024
Application Deadline: May 1, 2024 (or until qualified applicants are selected)
Award Disbursement: Starting June 1, 2024


Available Scholarships:

The amount awarded to each qualified student will be determined based on available funds. Students are typically awarded $1000-$2000 to be split equally between Fall and Winter semesters.

Students are limited to receiving 1 Leadership Engagement Scholarship per award cycle.
