Legal Support for Students
Student Life’s Student Legal Services (SLS) is a full service law office providing legal advice and counseling on a wide variety of subjects including housing, criminal, family, consumer, and traffic law. SLS also litigates cases on behalf of U-M students. SLS’s site provides a wealth of information to students on such helpful topics as housing laws and regulations, misdemeanor tickets for minors in possession of alcohol, traffic citations, and more.
