Legal Support for Students
Student Life’s Student Legal Services (SLS) is a full-service law office providing students with legal advice and counseling on everything from housing and family law to consumer law and traffic violations. SLS also litigates cases on behalf of U-M students. Students can access a wealth of information and resources on the SLS website, on topics including housing laws and regulations, misdemeanor tickets for minors in possession of alcohol, and traffic citations.
