At the International Center, for example, students found a sense of belonging in the U-M community through programs like the Intercultural Leadership Seminar (ILS); one student noted that ILS was the first time she felt able to speak openly and express herself since arriving in the United States. Students involved with Student Life Sustainability reported a greater appreciation of collaboration across academic disciplines, and nearly three-quarters of students who interacted with Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services (SAAS) indicated that SAAS coaching helped achieve high levels of improvement in their academic experience.

These stories represent a fraction of the outcomes captured in the new report, offering a poignant glimpse into how Student Life enriches and expands the experience of every U-M student.
