Dr. Robert Ernst serves as: 

• Chief Health Officer 

• Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness in Student Life

• Executive Director of University Health Service

As Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness in Student Life, he oversees the following Student Life units: ​

• Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

• University Health Service (UHS)

• Wolverine Wellness 

In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Ernst is a practicing primary care physician and clinical assistant professor at the U-M Medical School.
