ResponsiBLUE  Reminders

The University is using a mobile app, called ResponsiBLUE, to keep the university healthy and reduce the spread of COVID-19 by requiring  everyone entering buildings on campus to complete a daily symptom check.

ResponsiBLUE now displays for U-M undergraduate students their COVID-19 testing status by noting the date of their last test through U-M testing programs. All undergraduate students are responsible for ensuring they have the required green symptom check and the green "Completed" COVID-19 test verification to be on campus.

Here’s how it works:

  • Each day, all members of the campus community who enter campus buildings and facilities (including the unions, study spaces, dining halls and rec centers) are required to check themselves for COVID-19 symptoms by answering a brief set of questions using ResponsiBLUE.
  • The ResponsiBLUE App now displays for U-M Ann Arbor undergraduate students their weekly COVID-19 testing verification by noting a "COMPLETED" or "EXPIRED" status at the end of the symptom check process. Students must have both a green symptom check and a green "Completed" COVID-19 test verification to be on campus. The tool also offers advice on where to seek care if your student is not well and also provides insights and visibility to the state of public health at U-M.

In addition, if your student is studying or working at home or remotely, they can use ResponsiBLUE. While it is not required of individuals who are remote, doing so will help make using the app a healthy habit, and the aggregated data gathered will provide useful information about the overall health of the U-M community.

Visitors and vendors must use the guest version of ResponsiBLUE whenever they come to campus.
