Virtual Sports Opportunities

The facilities are reopening, but there are still plenty of virtual Recreational Sports opportunities ready to help your students reach their fitness goals this Fall!

Group‑X Free Week classes are offered virtually via Zoom. To find the class your student wants to check out, they can visit the Group-X schedule on the Recreational Sports website. Starting September 7, your student can buy the Unlimited Semester Pass, which costs $35 and gives them access to all virtual classes, all semester long!

Small Group Training programs Beginner Running and 5K Training are open for registration this Fall.
Rec Sports has also developed virtual personal training opportunities, working and meeting remotely with a real trainer, to help them reach their fitness goals. Your student can submit an inquiry to get their fitness journey started.

Intramural Sports also are available. Recreational Sports has a bunch of physically distanced and online Intramural Sports for your student to play this semester! Registration can be done on the Recreational Sports webstore.

Adventure Leadership gets your student outside. The great outdoors is open and a great place for distanced interactions with friends old and new. Come visit the Adventure Leadership Rental Center! Learn about our gear rentals and outdoor trip offerings. The Adventure Leadership Rental Center is located at 336 Hill St. directly next to Elbel Field.

Wild-Fi Connections -- Your student can join a virtually-guided adventure program, organized exclusively for an affinity group. Students explore new outdoor pursuits, connect with fellow nature lovers, and commit to regularly getting outside (as safely as possible) wherever they are! Groups will meet twice monthly over Zoom for an hour at a time throughout the semester, with asynchronous activity challenges between meetings.
