Services for Students with Disabilities - Fact Fund | Student Affairs - Parents

One of the many resources at Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) that students have access to is the FACT Fund (Fund for Accessible Computing Technology).  The FACT fund  was established to assist University of Michigan students registered with SSD in obtaining needed technology in order to increase their learning and academic achievement. Individual grants are specifically available for undergraduate, graduate and professional students with Learning Disabilities.

Presidential Campaign Posters Exhibit | Campus Involvement

Two Hundred Years of Election Art” (Quirk Books, 2012). The back of each poster includes commentary and additional artwork; when visiting the exhibit, do not hesitate to turn any of the posters over to read more about the election that year. Reverse Trick-or-reat: Halloween on a Safe and Fun Campus

Halloween is just a few days away and for many people that means an opportunity to have fun times, dress up in costumes, go trick-or-treating, attend parties, and eat yummy treats.  With all of this excitement, considering safety is also important.

MPassioned Art is a new and exciting arts project for the U of M community! The Center for Campus Involvement is holding a campus-wide search for 10 talented student artists, who will be selected to customize a 4’x4’x6” wooden “M.”

Baits II and Alice Lloyd celebrate renewed facilities

University Housing recently celebrated two more achievements in the Residential Life Initiatives -- the renovation of Alice Lloyd Hall and improvements to Baits Houses II.  LLoyd Hall was closed throughout last year for upgrades to infrastructure as well as  improvements to student rooms and community spaces.  A "new" hall reopened to students in August.  Significant remodeling to Baits student rooms, bathrooms and community spaces, and the installation of fire sprinklers and new roofing, were accomplished in only four months during the summer.

Hazing Prevention Week Oct 3-10

- Hazing Prevention Week kickeded off on October 3 with speaker Mindy Sopher.

- Friday, October 5, 2012 the Hazing Prevention Week Committee will be on the Diag.

- An IFC Round Table discussion is planned for Wednesday, October 10 in the Michigan Union Pendleton Room.
