Leadership & Support Staff

The Office of the Vice President for Student Life is charged with facilitating a positive Michigan experience for students and supporting their overall development. The Vice President’s office provides centralized services to support over two dozen Student Life units, which work in close collaboration with students, faculty, and staff across campus and around the world in pursuit of Student Life’s mission and core work.

Dr. Martino Harmon serves as Vice President for Student Life. 

Evaluation Summary

Beginning in 2015, Student Life engaged a broad cross-section of students, staff, and research to ensure a grounded and informed plan to be implemented over the next five years, and this robust engagement allowed for a clear set of divisional DEI 1.0 objectives.

Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services (SAAS) at the University of Michigan include Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), the U-M Adaptive Sports & Fitness Program, and the Testing and Accommodation Centers (TAC).

Dr. Connie Tingson Gatuz named Associate Vice President for Student Development, Learning, and Social Change Education

The Division of Student Life at the University of Michigan is committed to facilitating student learning and the development of the whole student. To this end, Student Life is pleased to announce that Dr. Connie Tingson Gatuz has accepted the Associate Vice President for Student Development, Learning, and Social Change Education position. Her appointment was approved by the Board of Regents on February 17, 2022.
