If your student is in the exploration stage of their education and career planning, they may want to use i-plan from the U-M Career Center to explore interests and much more. Consisting of three areas of focus -- Your Story, Your Community, and Your Presentation -- the i•plan™ represents the many small things your student can do throughout their time at U-M that build toward a fulfilling career.

Canopies return, offer outdoor study space

Fresh air and sunshine while studying...The outdoor canopies that were popular places for your student to study last fall are back!

The University of Michigan has erected seven canopies at five locations on the Ann Arbor campus: the Michigan Union, South Quadrangle, Palmer Tennis Courts and North Ingalls Mall on Central Campus, and Gerstacker Grove on North Campus.

Off Campus Virtual Housing Fair

With the university plan for an in-person Fall Semester, many students are in the process of wanting to secure off-campus housing for the 2021-22 year. If this is your student, then we would encourage them to participate in our Off Campus Virtual Housing Fair, taking place on Tuesday, April 20, 12 -1 p.m. The event offers an opportunity to chat live (via Zoom) with housing providers, ask questions about the accommodation that's available, and find out more about living off campus in Ann Arbor.

Survivor Care Team announced

A new initiative at the University of Michigan supports student victims and survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, abuse, intimate partner violence and stalking in processing their experiences.

The Survivor Care Team launched in April and is a collaboration between U-M’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center (SAPAC) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Get involved! Student Organizations -- sign up for fall

The Center for Campus Involvement is the central hub for U-M’s 1,600 student organizations. From your student’s first steps looking to get involved in a group through being president of an organization, CCI supports all of your student’s involvement needs.
